In the third and final part of the environmental trilogy, we present a dystopian universe not too distant from our reality in terms of breathable air.
Pollution levels are so high that the quality of the air we breathe is minimal, especially in cities. This problem has affected us at all social levels: how we relate to each other, how we live, how we work, how we feel… as it becomes more difficult to breathe the air that surrounds us.
The work begins with four simultaneous performances, where each of the characters introduces the problem of unbreathability in different ways. As the show and the characters evolve, we realise that this is a macro-advertising campaign to sell Biohabitat: a 100% breathable habitat that is the solution to all our problems.
This gestural comedy with text that combines performance, dance, pantomime, original music… aims to make the spectator reflect, not only on the environment, but also on our human condition and our way of life.
With an exquisitely cared aesthetic and a direct language, Biohabitat is an accessible, familiar and funny show.
